Capturing a field declaration signature

Capture an operative’s on-screen signature to confirm they agree to a specific declaration in the field.

Steps​

Step 1: Review the declaration text​

Carefully read the declaration shown above the signature area so you understand exactly what the operative is confirming.

Step 2: Confirm the declaration with the operative​

Walk the operative through the declaration, answering any questions and confirming they agree to sign on that basis.

Step 3: Ask the operative to sign on the device​

Hand the device to the operative and ask them to sign within the signature area using their finger or a stylus, following the on-screen prompt.

Step 4: Check the signature is clear and complete​

Verify that the captured signature is legible and fully within the pad area before proceeding with the workflow.

Step 5: Continue to save and submit the record​

Proceed with the rest of the form or workflow so the signature is processed and stored correctly by the system (not on the device).
