Manage your favourites panel

Use the favourites panel to quickly access starred documents and queries, and understand loading, empty, and error states.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: View your favourites while they load​

When you open the favourites panel, a loading skeleton appears briefly while your starred items are fetched in the background.

Step 2: Review your list of favourite items​

Once loading finishes, browse the list of favourites, including documents and queries, and select an item to open it from the panel.

Step 3: Understand the empty state when you have no favourites​

If you have not starred any items yet, the panel shows an empty state message explaining that you can star items anywhere to pin them here.

Step 4: Recover from an error when favourites fail to load​

If the favourites list cannot be loaded, an error message appears with a Retry button so you can attempt to load your favourites again.
