Manage dashboard widgets
Use the widget container controls to refresh data, configure settings, remove widgets, or hide inherited widgets on your dashboard.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard in edit mode
Switch your dashboard into edit mode so that widget controls become available for configuration, removal, duplication, and hiding actions.

Step 2: Refresh a widget’s data
On the widget header, select the refresh control to reload the widget’s data and update the displayed information without reloading the whole page.

Step 3: Configure a widget’s settings
Select the configure control on a widget to open its settings, then adjust options such as data source, filters, or display preferences to better match your project needs.

Step 4: Duplicate an existing widget
Use the duplicate control on a widget to create a copy with the same configuration, then reposition or further customise the new widget in your dashboard layout.

Step 5: Remove a widget from the dashboard
Select the remove control (typically shown as a close icon) on the widget header to delete the widget from your dashboard while keeping other widgets unchanged.

Step 6: Hide an inherited widget
For widgets inherited from a template or global configuration, use the hide control (typically shown as an eye-off icon) to hide the widget from your personal dashboard view without deleting it globally.
