Manage dashboard widgets
Configure how information is displayed on your dashboard by refreshing, hiding, removing, or duplicating widgets.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard in edit mode
Switch your dashboard into edit mode so you can manage individual widgets, including access to remove, hide, duplicate, and refresh controls.

Step 2: Identify the widget you want to manage
Locate the widget card on your dashboard and hover over its header to reveal the widget actions such as refresh, remove, hide, and configure.

Step 3: Refresh a widget to load the latest data
Use the refresh control on the widget to trigger an immediate data reload so the contents reflect the most up-to-date project information.

Step 4: Remove a widget from your dashboard
Select the remove control to permanently take the widget off your dashboard layout, reducing clutter and focusing on the most relevant information.

Step 5: Hide an inherited widget you do not need
Use the hide control to conceal inherited widgets while keeping them available for future use, helping you tailor the view without losing shared defaults.

Step 6: Duplicate a useful widget
Choose the duplicate option to create a copy of a widget, allowing you to show similar data in different ways or for different projects on the same dashboard.

Step 7: Configure widget settings
Open the widget configuration to adjust options defined in the widget library, such as filters or display preferences, so the widget reflects your reporting needs.

Step 8: View project names in the user dashboard
On the user dashboard, review widgets that aggregate data across projects, with each item clearly labelled using its resolved project name.
