Steps

Step 1: Open the lifecycle stage pipeline widget

Navigate to the dashboard containing the people tasks widgets and locate the lifecycle stage pipeline card with the branch icon showing stages and task counts.

Step 2: Scan task distribution across lifecycle stages

Review each column in the pipeline to see how many tasks sit in each lifecycle stage and identify where work is building up, using stage names and colours as a guide.

Step 3: Inspect task details within a stage

Select a stage column to see the individual tasks listed with their reference, title, lifecycle name, priority, overdue status, and associated project so you can understand what work is pending.

Step 4: Identify overdue and high-priority work

Look for tasks flagged as overdue and those marked with higher priority within each stage to decide where your team should focus attention first.

Step 5: Use terminal stages to confirm completed or closed work

Check the terminal (end-of-flow) stages to verify which tasks have reached their final status and confirm that no important items are stuck in earlier lifecycle stages.
