Monitor upcoming document expiries

Use the Document Expiry widget to review which key documents are nearing expiry or have already expired so you can take timely action.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Document Expiry widget

Navigate to the dashboard that contains the Document Expiry widget and locate the card showing expiring documents, identified by the calendar clock icon and expiry summary.

Step 2: Review the list of expiring documents

Scan the document list to see each document’s name, owner, type and expiry date, with visual badges highlighting how urgent each expiry is.

Step 3: Identify expired and high-risk documents

Look for items marked as "Expired" or with red warning styling to quickly identify documents that have passed their expiry date or are due within the highest-risk period.

Step 4: Check documents approaching expiry

Use the warning and caution indicators to focus on documents that are nearing expiry within the next few weeks so you can plan renewals in advance.

Step 5: Confirm documents that are currently valid

Note documents marked with a safe or success status to understand which items remain in date and require no immediate action.

Step 6: Refresh the expiry information

Use the refresh control on the widget (if available in your dashboard) to reload the latest expiry data from the underlying system.
