Review and understand risk events on the dashboard

Use the Events list widget to review current risk events, see key details at a glance, and understand overall event volumes by type and category.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Events list widget on the dashboard

Navigate to your PlanOps dashboard and locate the Events list widget card, which summarises current risk events and shows total counts in the header.

Step 2: Review the summary counts for proactive and reactive events

At the top of the widget, review the headline metrics showing the total number of events, and the breakdown between proactive and reactive events to understand overall risk activity.

Step 3: Scan the events list with key risk details

Scroll through the list of events to see each item with its reference, title, event nature, type, category, stage, likelihood, impact, expected value, proximity, and created date.

For each event, review the displayed risk owner name and the associated project name, helping you see who is responsible and which project the risk relates to.

Step 5: Interpret event types and categories

Use the type and category labels shown for each event, along with the category and type breakdown in the summary area, to identify which kinds of risks are most common.
