Review the critical path summary for your programme

Use the Critical Path Summary widget to quickly understand schedule float, critical activities, upcoming milestones, and overall programme risk.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the dashboard containing the Critical Path Summary widget​

Navigate to the relevant PlanOps dashboard where the Critical Path Summary widget has been added to view high-level programme schedule health.

Step 2: Check the overall critical path risk indicator​

Review the coloured risk label and icon at the top of the widget to see whether the programme is currently healthy, at risk, or in a critical state.

Step 3: Review total float on the critical path​

Look at the total float days value to understand how much schedule contingency remains before key dates are impacted.

Step 4: See how many activities are on the critical path​

Check the count of activities on the critical path to gauge how complex and sensitive your current programme path is.

Step 5: Identify the next critical milestone​

Review the name, target date, and days remaining for the next critical milestone so you know which key event requires attention next.

Step 6: Refresh the widget data​

Use the widget refresh control, if available, to reload the data and ensure you are viewing the latest critical path status from the underlying programme.
