Arrange dashboard widgets
Use the dashboard grid to rearrange and resize widgets so your project information is organised the way you need it.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard with the widget grid
Navigate to the dashboard view where the grid of widgets is displayed, ensuring the main content area shows your current layout of cards, charts, or summaries.
Step 2: Drag widgets to new positions
Click and hold a widget, then drag it to a new position on the grid; release the mouse to drop it into place as the layout automatically reflows around it.
Step 3: Resize widgets to show more or less detail
Use the resize handles on the edges or corners of a widget to make it wider or taller, adjusting how much information it can display within the grid.
Step 4: Work with inherited or locked widgets
Identify widgets that are marked as inherited or locked and understand that their position or size may be restricted, while still arranging the remaining widgets around them.
Step 5: Review the updated dashboard layout
After moving and resizing widgets, scan the grid to confirm that the most important project information is visible and prioritised for your daily monitoring.
