Arrange dashboard widgets
Use the dashboard grid to move, resize and organise your widgets so key information is easy to monitor and report on.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard grid
Navigate to your dashboard so the grid of widgets is visible; each widget appears as a movable card within the layout.
Step 2: Drag widgets to new positions
Click and hold a widget, then drag it to a new position on the grid; the layout updates as you drop the widget into place.
Step 3: Resize widgets within the grid
Use the resize handles on a widget’s corners or edges to increase or decrease its width and height to fit your content.
Step 4: Respect locked or inherited widgets
Observe that inherited or locked widgets cannot be freely repositioned or resized, helping you keep required content fixed on the dashboard.
Step 5: Review automatic layout adjustments
As you rearrange widgets, the grid automatically compacts and reconciles spacing so everything remains aligned and readable.
Step 6: Prepare widgets for reporting
Once your layout is organised, use the available actions on each widget (such as adding to a report) to capture the arrangement in your project reports.
