Organise dashboard widgets
Arrange, resize, and manage widgets on your dashboard grid to create a layout that suits your project monitoring needs.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard view
Navigate to the main dashboard where your widgets are displayed in a grid so you can start arranging them.

Step 2: Review the current widget layout
Look over the existing grid of widgets, noting which ones are inherited or locked, and how they are currently positioned.

Step 3: Drag widgets to new positions
Click and drag a widget to a new location on the grid; when you release it, the layout updates and other widgets compact around it.

Step 4: Resize widgets on the grid
Use the resize handles on a widget to adjust its width and height within the allowed minimum and maximum sizes.

Step 5: Work with locked or inherited widgets
Identify widgets marked as locked or inherited and understand that they may not be movable or resizable, but still influence the overall layout.

Step 6: Check the layout on different screen sizes
Resize your browser window to see how the grid automatically adapts for desktop, tablet, and mobile, changing column counts and row heights.

Step 7: Confirm your updated dashboard layout
Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, continue using the dashboard, knowing your widget positions are stored in the updated layout.
