Explore dashboard charts
Use interactive charts to review key metrics, compare series, and understand trends in your plan operations data.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the chart widget
Navigate to the dashboard section that contains the chart widget and wait for the chart area to finish loading any skeleton placeholders.

Step 2: Review the chart type and legend
Check the chart type (bar, line, area, scatter, or pie) and use the legend to identify each series by name and colour.

Step 3: Inspect values using the tooltip
Hover over points, bars, or slices on the chart to open the tooltip and see the exact values formatted according to the chart settings.

Step 4: Compare series across categories
Move along the x-axis categories to compare how different series perform side by side and identify any notable peaks, drops, or patterns.

Step 5: Interpret tones and status colours
Use the chart colours and tones (such as critical, warning, neutral, or ok) to quickly spot areas that require attention or are performing well.

Step 6: Check for empty or error states
If no data is available or an error occurs, review the empty-state or error message displayed instead of the chart to understand the next steps.
