Review the budget summary widget
Use the Budget Summary widget to quickly understand total budget, spend, remaining funds and overall financial health for your programme.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Locate the Budget Summary widget on the dashboard
On your PlanOps dashboard, scroll to the financial section until you see the Budget Summary widget showing the budget icon, title and refresh button.

Step 2: Check total budget, spend and remaining amounts
In the main panel of the widget, review the total budget, how much has been spent so far, and the remaining amount, all displayed in your default currency.

Step 3: Review budget health status
Look at the health indicator and status badge to see whether the budget is on track, at risk or over, along with any warning or success icon.

Step 4: Compare variance and forecast at completion
Use the variance and variance percentage figures to understand how actuals compare with budget, and check the forecast-at-completion amount to see the projected final spend.

Step 5: Monitor progress visually
Refer to the progress bar and any trend indicators to get a quick visual sense of spending progress and direction over the life of the budget.

Step 6: Refresh the widget data
Click the refresh button in the widget header to pull the latest financial data from the underlying system and update the displayed figures.
