View recent documents
Use the Recent Documents widget to quickly review and open the latest files added to your projects.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard with the Recent Documents widget
Navigate to your PlanOps dashboard and locate the Recent Documents widget card, usually labelled "Recent documents" or similar.

Step 2: Review the list of recent documents
Scan the document list to see each file’s name, type icon (drawing, spec, report, or other), upload date, and who uploaded it.

Step 3: Group documents by project
Use the "Group by project" toggle (if available) to switch between a flat list of documents and grouped sections organised by project.

Step 4: Identify document processing status
Check each document’s status indicator to understand whether it is still being processed, has completed processing, or has no processing status.

Step 5: Open a document from the widget
Click on a document row to open the detailed document view or relevant project area in a new page, using the handleDocumentClick behaviour.

Step 6: Refresh the list of recent documents
Select the refresh icon or button on the widget header to reload the list and see any newly uploaded or updated documents.

Step 7: View uploader details
Hover over or review the uploader’s avatar and name in each row to confirm who added the document to the system.

Step 8: Understand empty or error states
If no documents are available, review the empty state message; if an error icon appears, follow any on-screen guidance or refresh the widget.
