Monitor Temporary Works inspections
Use the Temporary Works Inspections widget to monitor upcoming and overdue inspections across your projects.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Temporary Works Inspections widget
On the dashboard, locate the Temporary Works Inspections card to view a summary of total, overdue, and upcoming inspections.

Step 2: Review overdue and upcoming inspection counts
Check the headline figures on the widget to see how many inspections are overdue, how many are upcoming, and the overall total.

Step 3: Filter inspections by due status
Use the filter controls in the widget header to switch between viewing all inspections, only overdue items, upcoming inspections, or items with no next inspection date set.

Step 4: Inspect individual Temporary Works items
In the list, review each item’s reference, type, description, risk level, project, and location to understand what work is affected.

Step 5: Check inspection due dates and overdue status
For each item, review the "Next inspection due" date and any overdue indicator to understand urgency and prioritise follow-up actions.

Step 6: Review registered and erected dates
Use the registered and erected dates shown for each Temporary Works item to understand its lifecycle and how long it has been in place.

Step 7: Refresh inspection data
Select the refresh control on the widget to pull the latest inspection information from the system and update counts and item details.

Step 8: Identify project context for inspections
Use the project name shown for each item to see which project the Temporary Works belong to and coordinate with the relevant project team.
