View formatted assistant messages in chat
Understand how assistant replies are formatted in chat, including headings, lists, code blocks and safe links.

Steps
Step 1: Open a chat that contains an assistant response
Navigate to any chat or assistant panel where the assistant has already replied; the message body is rendered using markdown formatting for clarity.
Step 2: Read structured content with headings, lists and emphasis
Scan the assistant reply to see markdown headings, bullet or numbered lists, bold and italic text that highlight key points and actions.
Step 3: Review tables, quotes and code snippets
When the assistant includes tables, blockquotes or code, these appear in styled blocks with scrollable tables and monospaced code for easier reading.
Step 4: Open links safely from assistant messages
Click links in the assistant message to open external sites in a new tab, while any raw HTML in the reply is safely shown as text rather than executed.
