Manage object-level permissions

Review existing object-level permissions for users and remove access when it is no longer required.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the object permissions table

Navigate to the area of the application where object-level permissions are configured and locate the permissions table showing each user's access.

Step 2: Review existing permissions

Scan the table to review each record, including the user ID, resource type, resource ID, permission level, who granted it, and when it was granted.

Step 3: Identify a permission to remove

Find the specific row for the user and resource whose access you want to revoke, using the resource type and ID columns to confirm the correct entry.

Step 4: Start deleting a permission

In the Actions column for the chosen row, select the option to delete or revoke the permission to begin removing that user's access.

Step 5: Confirm permission removal

When the confirmation dialog appears, review the details and confirm that you want to delete the permission to complete the revocation.

Step 6: Verify the permission has been removed

After confirmation, check that the permission record no longer appears in the table and that any success or error message is displayed as expected.
