Generate ITPs for project packages
Use the ITP Package Generation panel to assign templates to packages and generate Inspection and Test Plans in bulk.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the ITP Package Generation panel
Navigate to the ITP register in your project and open the panel that lists packages requiring template assignment or ITP generation.

Step 2: Review package status and component counts
Check each package row to see whether a template is assigned, how many components have ITPs issued, and whether any actions are available.

Step 3: Assign a template to an untemplated package
For packages with no template, expand the template picker, search or browse the available ITP templates, and select the most appropriate one for the package.

Step 4: Assign a template and generate ITPs in one go
After choosing a template for an untemplated package, choose the "Assign & generate ITPs" action to assign the template and immediately create ITPs for all eligible components in that package.

Step 5: Assign a template without generating ITPs
If you only wish to record the template selection for now, choose the "Assign only" action so that ITPs are not generated yet.

Step 6: Generate ITPs for packages with an existing template
For packages that already have a template, use the "Generate ITPs" action to create any missing ITPs while skipping components that already have an ITP.

Step 7: Understand fully issued and unavailable packages
Note the "ITPs issued" marker where every component already has an ITP, and observe that actions are disabled for packages without any components, with an explanatory note.

Step 8: Monitor progress and results
Watch the in-progress indicators while generation runs, then review any success or error messages and the updated issued counts once processing completes.
