Manage ITP templates in a project

Use the ITP template list to search, duplicate, publish and delete inspection and test plan templates for your project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the ITP template list​

Navigate to your project workspace or ITP register and open the Templates view to see the list of existing ITP templates.

Step 2: Return to the ITP register or workspace​

Use the Back button at the top of the page to return either to the ITP register or to the project workspace, depending on where you came from.

Step 3: Review template details and scope​

Browse the list of templates and check each row for the template name, status, and scope badge showing whether it is system-wide, organisation, or project specific.

Step 4: Search for a template​

Enter a keyword into the search box above the list to filter templates by name so you can quickly find the one you need.

Step 5: Open template actions​

On the row for the template you want to manage, select the More options icon to open the menu of available actions.

Step 6: Duplicate a template​

From the actions menu, choose Duplicate to create a copy of the selected template that you can edit and reuse without changing the original.

Step 7: Publish a template​

From the actions menu, choose Publish to make a draft template available for use when creating new inspection and test plans.

Step 8: Delete a template​

From the actions menu, choose Delete and confirm in the dialogue to permanently remove a template you no longer need from the list.
