Review and collaborate on a workspace item
View detailed information about a workspace item, review its history and comments, and add your own feedback directly in the side panel or standalone view.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the workspace item detail
Select a workspace item from your project to open its detail view as a side panel or standalone page, showing its title, type (such as task or milestone), and key metadata.
Step 2: Review item details and status
Review the item’s main information, including description, status, due dates and other context, so you understand what the item is about and what has already been done.
Step 3: Open the full task or document
Use the view or open controls to navigate to the full task or related source item (for example, a task or query) in its dedicated view for more in‑depth information.
Step 4: Edit the item
Select the edit option to adjust the item’s details, such as its description or other editable fields, then save your changes to update the workspace item for everyone.
Step 5: Add a new comment
Type your feedback or questions into the comment box and submit the form to add a new comment, which will appear in the item’s comment thread for your team to see.
Step 6: Review existing comments and history
Scroll through the comment list to see previous discussion and context, including who commented and when, helping you follow the history of decisions and updates.
Step 7: View more details or related information
Use the view details control to open any additional detail view that may be available for the item, such as extended metadata or related workspace records.
Step 8: Close the detail view
Use the close button to dismiss the side panel or exit the standalone view and return to your previous workspace screen without losing your place in the project.
