Review workspace item details and add comments
View full details of a workspace item (such as a task) and collaborate by adding comments in the side panel or standalone view.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the workspace item detail panel
In your project workspace, select the item you want to review (for example, a task, milestone or query). This opens the Workspace Item Detail view, either as a side panel or as a standalone page depending on how it was launched.

Step 2: Review item status and key information
At the top of the panel, review the item title, current status badge, and any key metadata such as due dates and type (task, milestone or query) so you understand the context before making changes.

Step 3: View the full linked task details
Use the view or details control (for example, a button or link with an external link or file icon) to open the full task details associated with this workspace item, allowing you to see all related information in the main task view.

Step 4: Edit the workspace item
Select the edit option (pencil icon) to update editable fields for the workspace item, such as title, description, due dates or other attributes, then save your changes so they are reflected across the project.

Step 5: Add a new comment
In the comments section, type your message into the comment box and select the send button to submit it. Your comment is stored against this item so that collaborators can view and respond.

Step 6: Review existing comments and activity
Scroll through the comments list to read previous discussion, including timestamps and authors, so you can follow the history of decisions and updates related to this item.

Step 7: Close the workspace item detail view
When you have finished reviewing or updating the item, select the close icon in the panel header to return to your previous workspace view without leaving the project.
