Filter tasks by status, priority and type

Use the filter dialog to narrow down visible tasks by status, priority and category/type, so you can focus on the most relevant work.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the filter dialog

Open the task list view and click the filter button or icon to display the filter dialog.

Step 2: Choose task status filters

In the Status section, tick or untick options such as open, in_progress, completed and overdue to include or exclude tasks with those statuses.

Step 3: Choose task priority filters

In the Priority section, tick or untick priority levels such as high, medium and low to show only tasks with the selected priorities.

Step 4: Choose task type or category filters

In the Category or Type section, tick or untick options such as task, deadline, milestone and meeting to focus on specific kinds of work.

Step 5: Filter by assignee (if available)

In the Assignee section, tick or untick people’s names to show only tasks assigned to selected team members.

Step 6: Apply the selected filters

Click the Apply button to confirm your selections; the dialog closes and the task list refreshes to show only tasks matching the chosen filters.

Step 7: Reset and clear all filters

If you want to return to the full, unfiltered task list, open the filter dialog again and click the Reset button; all filter options are cleared and the full list is shown.
