Manage hold points for an ITP item
Trigger and clear hold points on inspection and test plan items, including recording witnesses and photo evidence.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the hold point workflow
Navigate to the relevant component and inspection item, then open the hold point workflow panel for that item to review its current status.

Step 2: Trigger a new hold point
Select the option to trigger a hold point, then confirm the action so the system records the hold and updates the item status.

Step 3: Review trigger details
After triggering, review the confirmation details returned by the system, such as the hold point reference and any status information shown in the workflow panel.

Step 4: Start clearing the hold point
Choose to clear the hold point to open the clearance dialog, where you can record the inspection outcome and supporting evidence.

Step 5: Record pass or fail outcome
Set whether the hold point has passed or failed, and add any result notes to explain the outcome for project records.

Step 6: Select witnesses
Use the witness picker to search for and add relevant witnesses so their names are recorded against the hold point clearance.

Step 7: Add photo evidence
Upload or select photo evidence for the inspection; if photos are required, ensure you meet the minimum number before continuing.

Step 8: Confirm and clear the hold point
Once all required details and evidence are provided, confirm to clear the hold point so the item status is updated and the workflow is completed.
