Create and manage an ITP template
Use the ITP Template Editor to create, update, save and publish inspection test plan templates for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the ITP Template Editor
Navigate to the ITP Template Editor for your project from the inspections or templates area to start creating or editing a template.

Step 2: Review template loading and status
Wait for the template to load if you are editing an existing one, or confirm you are working on a new template if the page opens in a blank state.

Step 3: Add inspection items to the template
Add new inspection items to the template list so each key activity, check or test is clearly defined and ordered.

Step 4: Configure inspection type and hold point
For each item, select the appropriate inspection type (such as Receipt or Completion) and hold point requirement (such as Notification or Hold Point).

Step 5: Define item details and acceptance criteria
Enter the item name, description, acceptance criteria and any reference documents so project teams understand exactly what is required.

Step 6: Set witness parties, photos and criticality
Specify any required witness parties, whether photos are required, the minimum number of photos and whether the item is considered critical.

Step 7: Reorder and manage template items
Adjust the order of inspection items, expand or collapse item details and remove any items that are no longer required.

Step 8: Save changes to the template
Use the save option to store your changes without publishing, allowing further updates and reviews before the template goes live.

Step 9: Publish the ITP template
When ready for use on the project, publish the template so it becomes available for creating ITPs and tracking inspections.

Step 10: Return to the templates or ITP register view
Use the back navigation to return to the templates list or ITP register, preserving your original context where available.
