Create and manage an ITP template
Configure and manage an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) template, including inspection items, hold points, and publication status.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the ITP template editor
From your project, open the ITP template editor page for a new or existing template so you can configure its details and inspection items.

Step 2: Review template status and basic details
At the top of the editor, review the template code and status badges so you understand whether you are working on a draft or an already published template.

Step 3: Add inspection items to the template
Use the add item control to create new inspection items; each item starts with default settings and is expanded so you can immediately edit its details.

Step 4: Configure inspection type and hold point
For each item, choose the appropriate inspection type (for example Pre-Installation or Completion) and set the hold point requirement such as Notification, Witness Point or Hold Point.

Step 5: Define item requirements and acceptance criteria
Enter the item name, description, acceptance criteria, reference documents, and other requirements to clearly specify what must be checked and recorded on site.

Step 6: Set photo, witness, and criticality options
For each item, specify whether photos are required (and the minimum number), add any witness parties, and mark the item as critical if it represents a key quality or safety check.

Step 7: Reorder, expand or remove items
Use the drag handle to change the order of items, toggle sections open or closed for easier navigation, and remove any items that are no longer needed.

Step 8: Save the template as a draft
Select the save option to store your current changes as a draft template so you can return later to continue editing before it is used on site.

Step 9: Publish the template for project use
When you are satisfied with the configuration, choose the publish option to make the ITP template available for inspections within the project.

Step 10: Return to the previous project view
Use the back navigation control to leave the editor and return to the project or template list view once you have finished updating the ITP template.
