Manage linked items in the inline picker modal

Use the inline linked-items picker modal to select and confirm related packages, lifecycle items, and documents without leaving your current page.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the linked items picker modal​

Open the linked items picker modal from your current page to begin selecting related packages, lifecycle items, or documents for the item you are editing.

Step 2: Choose linked packages​

In the modal, use the package picker to select the package you want to link; the selection is recorded in the modal ready to be confirmed.

Step 3: Select lifecycle items​

Switch to the lifecycle items section and use the lifecycle item picker to choose the relevant lifecycle item, which is then added to your pending selections.

Step 4: Add multiple documents​

Open the documents section and use the document picker to add one or more documents, with each chosen document appearing in the modal as part of your linked items.

Step 5: Confirm and save linked items​

Click the confirm or save option in the modal to send your selected package, lifecycle items, and documents to the host page so they are stored against the current item.

Step 6: Review and resolve save errors​

If saving fails, review the error message displayed in the still-open modal, adjust your selections if needed, and try confirming again until the changes are successfully saved.
