View an item's lifecycle stage
Use lifecycle stage chips to quickly understand where each item sits in your workflow.

Steps
Step 1: Locate the lifecycle stage chip
Open the relevant workspace view (list, board, or detail) and find the pill-shaped lifecycle stage chip displayed next to each item.
Step 2: Read the stage label
Look at the text label inside the chip to see the item's current lifecycle stage, as defined in your active lifecycle configuration.
Step 3: Use the icon for quick recognition
Use the icon shown to the left of the label as a quick visual cue for the stage, knowing that it always appears alongside clear text for accessibility.
Step 4: Compare stages across items
Scan down the list or across the board to compare the chips and understand which items are at similar or different lifecycle stages.
