Manage workspace items in the list view

Use the workspace list to review key details, update status and priority, copy references, and quickly close or delete workspace items.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Review workspace item details in the list

Open the workspace list and locate the row for the item you want to review, then scan its status, priority, category icon, due date and any section tags or multi-select chips to understand its current state.

Step 2: Select a workspace item for bulk or focused actions

Click anywhere on a workspace row (or use the keyboard focus and Enter key) to select it, so that it is highlighted and ready for bulk actions or more detailed review.

Click the section-tag chip shown within the workspace row to navigate directly to the owning package, allowing you to review wider package context for the selected item.

Step 4: Update the workspace item status

Use the status badge in the row to change the workspace status to the appropriate value, and note that an optimistic update is applied immediately while the change is saved in the background.

Step 5: Change the workspace item priority

Click the priority badge in the row and choose a new priority level so the item is correctly ranked against other work in the list.

Step 6: Use Quick Close to complete an item

Select the Quick Close button in the row to rapidly mark the item as closed, with the row updating immediately while the system processes the final change.

Step 7: Open row actions for copy, view or delete

Click the More options icon at the end of the row to open the contextual menu where you can copy the item reference, view more details or begin the delete process.

Step 8: Copy the workspace reference for sharing

From the row actions menu, choose the option to copy the workspace reference so you can paste it into messages, tickets or documentation when coordinating with your team.

Step 9: Delete a workspace item when allowed

From the row actions menu, select the delete option to remove the workspace item, noting that deletion may be disabled and a reason displayed if the item cannot be removed.
