Manage lifecycle contextual call-to-action buttons
Use lifecycle contextual call-to-action (CTA) buttons to launch key workflows and understand when and why certain actions are unavailable.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the lifecycle contextual CTAs panel
Navigate to the area of the application where lifecycle contextual CTAs are displayed so you can see the available actions for the current record or workflow.

Step 2: Run an available RAMS audit
Select the "Run RAMS audit" button when it is active to launch the guided RAMS compliance audit task; your click immediately starts the associated workflow.

Step 3: Understand why a CTA is disabled
When the "Run RAMS audit" button is disabled, review the on-screen disabled hint text shown directly beneath or beside the button to understand why it cannot be used and what to do instead.

Step 4: Follow the suggested alternative action
If you have no IU credits left, use the suggested route such as "Record a review" to pass or fail the RAMS manually, ensuring the process can still move forward.

Step 5: Use other available CTAs when some are disabled
When one CTA is unavailable, select any other active buttons such as "Record a review" to continue with alternative workflows without interruption.
