View lifecycle stage progress

Use the lifecycle stage progress bar to see how far an item has moved through its workflow and which stages are completed, current, or upcoming.

Steps

Step 1: Locate the lifecycle stage progress bar

Open the relevant record or page (such as a project, case, or request) and find the lifecycle stage progress bar at the top or in the header area, showing a horizontal sequence of stages or a compact set of coloured dots.

Step 2: Review completed, current, and upcoming stages

Look along the progress bar to see which stages are marked as completed, which stage is highlighted as the current one, and which stages are still upcoming, so you can quickly understand where the item is in its lifecycle.

Step 3: Hover to see stage names and order

Move your pointer over each stage indicator to view its name and understand the order in which stages occur, using the visual layout and tooltips to confirm the lifecycle path.

Step 4: Use the compact progress view

When the compact version is shown, read the sequence of coloured dots and the fraction (for example, 2/5) to see the current position and total number of stages at a glance without expanding the full bar.

Step 5: (If enabled) Click a stage to inspect details

If stages are clickable in your view, select a stage in the progress bar to trigger any configured action, such as opening more detailed information about that stage or navigating to a relevant section.
