Track lifecycle stage progress

View and interpret the lifecycle progress bar to understand which stage an item is currently in and which stages have been completed.

Steps

Step 1: Locate the lifecycle progress bar

Open the relevant item or record and locate the lifecycle progress bar at the top of the view, showing all non-cancelled stages in order.

Step 2: Identify the current stage

Look for the stage highlighted in blue with a ring or marker, which indicates the item’s current lifecycle stage.

Step 3: Review completed and upcoming stages

Use the green indicators to see which stages have been completed and the grey indicators to see which stages are still upcoming.

Step 4: Use the compact progress view

When the compact version is shown, read the small coloured dots and the fraction (for example, 2/5) to see your current position in the overall lifecycle.

Step 5: Inspect stage details via tooltips

Hover your cursor over an individual stage indicator to see the stage name in a tooltip and confirm what each point in the lifecycle represents.
