Manage RAMS and ITP items for a package

Use the RAMS & ITP tab to review RAMS items within a package and generate or assign ITPs for the related components.

Steps

Step 1: Open the RAMS & ITP tab for your package

In your workspace, navigate to the relevant package and open the RAMS & ITP tab to see all RAMS items linked to that package.

Step 2: Review RAMS items and package context

Scan the list of RAMS items, including their status, titles and any package tags shown, so you can decide which components require ITP generation or assignment.

Step 3: Open a specific RAMS or component item

Select a RAMS entry to open it in detail, using the item link or action, so you can inspect its information before assigning or generating an ITP.

Step 4: Choose an ITP template for your components

Use the template picker to browse the available lifecycle templates, select the most suitable ITP template for your package components, and confirm your choice.

Step 5: Assign ITPs to selected components

Trigger the assign action to link the chosen ITP template to the relevant components, without generating detailed ITP records yet.

Step 6: Assign and generate ITPs in bulk

Use the assign and generate option to create ITPs for all eligible components in one action, so the system can build the ITP records automatically.

Step 7: Review bulk generation summary and failures

After generation completes, review the inline summary of generated, skipped and failed components, then inspect any listed failures to understand why an ITP could not be created.

Step 8: Open generated ITPs in the ITP lens

For successfully generated items, follow the provided link or action to open each ITP in the ITP lens view and continue detailed planning or approval workflows.
