Manage empty linked item rows

Use the compact empty link row to see what is missing in a record and add new linked items without scrolling through large empty cards.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Review the empty linked item row

Observe the single-line row that replaces multiple empty cards; it shows the group label, any qualifier, and a short message explaining what is currently missing, such as "No permits required" or "None issued yet".

Step 3: Read the empty state message

Read the italic empty state text to understand the current status in the group’s own terms, such as whether nothing is required yet or nothing has been issued.

When an add button appears on the right of the row, select it to start adding a new linked item for that group using the standard add flow for your workspace.
