Understand lifecycle status and next actions
Review the current lifecycle stage of an item, understand why it is there, and see the next action and blockers before scrolling the page.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: View the lifecycle status bar at the top of the item
When you open an item's detail view, look at the always-visible lifecycle status bar at the top to see the current stage, SLA indicator, and any key prompts before you start scrolling.

Step 2: Check the current stage and SLA status
Read the stage chip and SLA pill to understand where the item sits in the lifecycle and whether SLA is on track, at risk, or breached, using the icon and colour cues.

Step 3: Understand why the item is in this stage
Review the reason text shown in the bar to see the decision or condition that placed the item in its current stage, so you have context before taking action.

Step 4: Identify and open the primary next action
Use the primary action button in the bar to take the recommended next step for this item, such as progressing it to the next stage or completing the key task.

Step 5: Review blockers in detail
If the bar shows that there are blockers, use the blockers link or prompt to jump smoothly to the next-best-action panel where the blockers are listed in full.
