Review and navigate workspace timeline items
Use the timeline view to scan through upcoming and overdue workspace items, see their type and priority at a glance, and open an item for more detailed review.

Steps
Step 1: Open the timeline view for your workspace
Navigate to the workspace area where the timeline view is displayed so you can see a list of timeline cards representing tasks, deadlines, milestones, meetings and other activity.

Step 2: Browse items and interpret priority and status
Scroll through the list of timeline cards, using the coloured left border to understand each item’s priority, and noting that overdue items are highlighted with a light red background.

Step 3: Identify item type using icons
Look at the icon on the left of each card to quickly identify its type, such as tasks, deadlines, milestones, meetings, temporary works, RFIs, procurement events or handovers.

Step 4: Select an item for detailed review
Click a timeline card to select it; the selected item is visually highlighted with a coloured ring and shadow, and its details are opened or updated elsewhere in the workspace.

Step 5: Move to the next or previous month
Use the navigation controls (for example, the left and right chevron buttons) to call the previous and next month actions, updating the list to show items scheduled in different months.

Step 6: Jump back to today’s date
Use the “Today” control, which triggers the go-to-today action, to return the timeline to the current date range so you can refocus on immediate priorities.
