View and navigate linked items

Use the linked items panel to see related tasks, forms and reports, and quickly open them from a workspace item.

Steps

Step 1: Open an item with linked content

From your project workspace, open the item whose related tasks, forms or reports you want to review; the linked items panel appears alongside the item details.

Step 2: Review linked item groups and counts

In the linked items panel, check each group (such as linked tasks, forms and reports) and use the item counts to understand how many related records exist in each group.

Step 3: Navigate to a linked item

Select a linked item label within the panel to open its detailed view in the appropriate route while keeping your project context.

Step 4: Add a new linked item when a group is empty

When a group has no linked items, use the inline link or add option shown in the empty state to create or link a new related item directly from the panel.

Step 5: Distinguish between required and issued permits

When working with permits, use the panel to see which permits are required for authoring purposes and which have actually been issued, so you can manage compliance accurately.
