Unlink a programme from a workspace item
Remove a single programme activity association from a workspace item without changing other linked programmes.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the workspace item detail
Navigate to the workspace item detail page for the item you want to update and confirm you can see the list of linked programme activities as chips.
Step 2: Locate the programme activity to unlink
In the item detail view, find the specific programme chip you no longer want associated with this item.
Step 3: Use the chip unlink control
Click the unlink or remove control on the selected programme chip to start removing its link from the workspace item.
Step 4: Confirm the unlink action (if prompted)
If a confirmation prompt appears, review the change and confirm that you want to remove this programme from the workspace item.
Step 5: Save the updated programme links
Allow the system to update the workspace item, ensuring the programme is removed from all relevant lists or package settings in the background.
Step 6: Verify the programme has been unlinked
Check the workspace item detail page to confirm that the programme chip has disappeared and is no longer associated with the item.
