Use coloured stage chips to quickly understand the current lifecycle stage of items across lists, boards and detail views.

Steps

Step 1: Locate stage chips in your workspace

Open any workspace list, board or detail view and look for small rounded pills next to each item showing its current lifecycle stage.

Look at the text inside the chip to see the exact lifecycle stage name, such as "Applied", "Interviewing" or "Hired".

Step 3: Use icon and colour for quick scanning

Use the icon and background tone of each chip to visually scan for items at similar stages while still relying on the text label for clarity.

Step 4: Identify fallback stages

When a lifecycle configuration is missing, recognise that the chip still shows a human-readable fallback stage so you can continue working.
