View lifecycle stage chips on workspace items
Use coloured stage chips to quickly understand the current lifecycle stage of items across lists, boards and detail views.
Audience
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Locate stage chips in your workspace
Open any workspace list, board or detail view and look for small rounded pills next to each item showing its current lifecycle stage.

Step 2: Read the stage label
Look at the text inside the chip to see the exact lifecycle stage name, such as "Applied", "Interviewing" or "Hired".

Step 3: Use icon and colour for quick scanning
Use the icon and background tone of each chip to visually scan for items at similar stages while still relying on the text label for clarity.

Step 4: Identify fallback stages
When a lifecycle configuration is missing, recognise that the chip still shows a human-readable fallback stage so you can continue working.
