Manage RAMS and ITP for a package

Configure, generate and review RAMS and ITP records for a specific package in your workspace.

Steps

Step 1: Open the RAMS & ITP tab for your package

Navigate to the relevant package in your workspace and open the RAMS & ITP tab to view the current risk assessments, method statements and inspection test plan status for each component.

Step 2: Review component compliance and ITP roll-up status

Use the list of components to review which items already have RAMS and ITPs in place, checking the status badges and roll-up indicators to understand overall readiness and any gaps.

Step 3: Open an individual component item

Select a component row to open the detailed item view in a new screen, where you can inspect its RAMS, ITP, history, and any outstanding actions before returning to the package overview.

Step 4: Choose lifecycle and RAMS templates

Open the template picker to select appropriate lifecycle and RAMS templates for the package components, ensuring that the correct standard documents and workflows will be applied.

Step 5: Bulk create RAMS for selected components

Trigger the bulk RAMS creation action to generate RAMS records for all eligible components using the chosen templates, and wait for the inline generation summary to confirm how many were created or skipped.

Step 6: Assign templates and generate ITP items

Use the assign-and-generate controls to assign ITP templates to components and generate their inspection test plan items, then review the detailed summary of generated, skipped and failed components.

Step 7: Refresh package RAMS and ITP status

Use the refresh controls to reload the package RAMS and ITP roll-up data, ensuring that all statuses, counts and alerts reflect the latest changes made by you or your team.
