Review inbound handover submissions
Review, accept, reject, and manage resubmissions for inbound handover documentation submitted by suppliers and contractors.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Inbound Submissions tab
Navigate to the handover area of the project and open the Inbound Submissions tab to see all items that require documentation.

Step 2: Review items with missing or submitted documents
Check each row in the list to see which required items are missing documents and which have submissions waiting for review, including file details and submitter information.

Step 3: Download and inspect submitted files
For submitted items, open or download the attached files (such as O&M manuals) so you can verify that the content meets your project and client requirements.

Step 4: Accept a compliant inbound item
When a submitted document is satisfactory, use the accept action for that row to mark the inbound item as accepted so it can progress in the handover process.

Step 5: Reject an item and record why
If a submission is unsuitable, use the reject action and provide clear reasons so the supplier or contractor understands what needs to change.

Step 6: Request a resubmission from the supplier
Where updates or corrections are needed, use the request resubmission option to prompt the submitter to upload a new or revised document.

Step 7: Promote an approved file to the main handover record
For fully approved submissions, use the promote option to move the selected file into the main project handover documentation set.
