View workspace item status bar

Use the status bar to understand the current lifecycle stage of a workspace item and confirm that it is consistent across all detail views.

Steps

Step 1: Open a workspace item

Navigate to the workspace and select the item you want to review so its detail view opens in the main area.

Step 2: Locate the status bar at the top of the detail view

Look at the top of the item detail page to find the single status bar that appears above the main content shell.

Step 3: Check the lifecycle stage displayed

Read the stage text in the status bar to understand the item’s current lifecycle position, such as design, review, or approval.

Step 4: Switch between different item types

Move between RAMS, packages, components, handovers, plant, or temporary works items and confirm that only one status bar remains visible above each shell.

Open items that do not use a lifecycle configuration and confirm that no status bar is shown above their content.

Step 6: Confirm actions are not triggered from the status bar

Review the status bar and note that it is purely informational and does not provide buttons or calls to action.
