Manage package programme links
Link and unlink packages to programme tasks so your package overview and linked items stay in sync without reloading the page.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Programme tab for a package
Navigate to the package workspace item and open the Programme tab to see the current programme tasks linked to this package.
Step 2: Review currently linked programme tasks
In the Programme tab, check the list of selected programme tasks so you understand what is already linked to the package.
Step 3: Add new programme tasks to the package
Use the programme task picker to search for and select additional tasks, then apply your changes so they are linked to the package.
Step 4: Remove programme tasks from the package
Deselect any tasks you no longer want associated with the package and confirm the change to unlink them.
Step 5: Confirm programme links are saved
Wait for the programme links to be saved, ensuring there are no error messages and that the updated selection remains visible in the Programme tab.
Step 6: Check updated programme links in the Overview tab
Switch to the Overview tab and review the Linked items → Programme group to confirm it now reflects your latest set of linked tasks without reloading the page.
