Launch a handover wizard for your project
Use the Handover Wizard launcher to start a structured handover, choose the recipient organisation and contact, and apply a template for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the handover wizard launcher
Navigate to the relevant project and select the option to start a new handover, which opens the Handover Wizard launcher panel.

Step 2: Choose the recipient organisation
In the launcher, use the organisation picker to select the recipient organisation for the handover so the wizard can scope contacts and details correctly.

Step 3: Confirm the recipient contact
Once an organisation is selected, pick the specific recipient contact from the contact picker, which is automatically filtered to the chosen organisation.

Step 4: Select a handover template
Use the template picker to choose an appropriate handover template so that the wizard preloads the correct structure and content for your handover.

Step 5: Review project packages to include
Check and adjust any project packages shown in the launcher so that only the relevant scope is included in the handover.

Step 6: Set the target handover date
Enter the planned target handover date, which uses the standard date input to ensure consistent scheduling across the project.

Step 7: Start the handover wizard
Confirm your selections and launch the full handover wizard, where the chosen organisation, contact, template, and date are pre-populated for you.
