Create a new lifecycle item from the dropdown

Use the New Item dropdown to start a lifecycle wizard that automatically links new items to the current project context.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the New Item dropdown​

From the application toolbar, select the New Item dropdown to see the list of available lifecycle item types you can create.

Step 2: Choose the type of item to create​

In the dropdown list, click the lifecycle item type you want to create, such as an RFI or RAMS item, to launch the stepped wizard for that configuration.

Step 3: Confirm the correct project context​

Check that the wizard header or summary shows the correct project name so that the new item will use the right default title and be associated with the active project.

Step 4: Continue through the lifecycle wizard​

Work through the wizard steps to provide any required details; when you finish, the item is created with a meaningful title derived from the lifecycle configuration and project context.
