Review, initialise and update the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) checklist for an individual component within a package.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the ITP checklist for the component
Navigate to the component within the package and open its ITP checklist panel to view the current inspection and test status.

Step 2: Review ITP progress summary
Check the ITP progress summary at the top of the checklist to understand how many items are pending, in progress, or completed for this component.

Step 3: Initialise the ITP for the component
If the checklist has not yet been started, use the initialise action to create ITP item instances from the template for this component.

Step 4: Inspect item statuses and details
Scroll through the list of ITP items to review each item’s status, hold point type, witnesses and any notes or inspection timestamps.

Step 5: Update the status of an ITP item
Use the available status controls on an item to move it between states such as Pending, In Progress, Passed, Failed, Conditional or N/A, depending on the inspection outcome.

Step 6: Manage hold points and witness requirements
For items marked as hold points or requiring witnessing, refer to the hold point badges and status labels (for example Awaiting Witness) to ensure the correct sign-off is obtained.

Step 7: Reopen the checklist for a defect
When a defect is identified after completion, use the reopen for defect option, add a defect description, and confirm to move the checklist back into an active state.

Step 8: Complete the component ITP
Once all relevant items are satisfactorily addressed, use the complete component action to mark the component’s ITP as fully completed.
