Manage ITP checklist for a component

Review and update inspection and test plan (ITP) items for a specific component or package, including hold points and photo evidence.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the ITP checklist for your component​

Navigate to the component or ITP workspace item and open the Inspections or ITP tab to load the checklist for the selected component or package.

Step 2: Review overall ITP progress​

Use the progress summary at the top of the checklist to see how many items are pending, in progress, completed, have defects, or are blocked by hold points.

Step 3: Inspect individual checklist items​

Scroll through the list of ITP items to review each requirement, including its description, current status, hold point type, and any assigned witnesses or responsible users.

Step 4: Update an item's inspection status​

Select the appropriate control for an item to change its status, such as marking it as completed, in progress, or failed/defective, so that the ITP reflects current site conditions.

Step 5: Reopen an item to capture defects​

For items previously marked as complete, use the reopen option when a defect or non-conformance is identified so that corrective actions can be tracked.

Step 6: Manage hold points and witness requirements​

Use the hold point workflow on relevant items to request, record, or clear inspection and witness approvals, ensuring mandatory checks are carried out before work proceeds.

Step 7: Upload photo evidence for inspections​

Attach supporting photo evidence to relevant checklist items using the photo uploader so that inspection records are fully documented for audit and handover.

Step 8: View detailed inspection records​

Open the "View record" option on an item to review the underlying inspection form instance, including responses, signatures, and timestamps.

Step 9: Initialise an ITP for a new component​

When no checklist exists, use the initialise ITP option to create the inspection records from the appropriate template for the selected component or package.
