Manage ITP checklist for a component
Use the ITP checklist to track inspection status, manage hold points, and review evidence for a project component or package.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the ITP checklist for a component or register item
Navigate to the component inspections tab or the ITP register detail view to open the ITP checklist, which loads the relevant ITP template and current inspection status.

Step 2: Review overall ITP progress
Use the progress summary at the top of the checklist to see how many items are pending, in progress, awaiting witness, passed, or failed for the selected component or register item.

Step 3: Inspect individual ITP items and hold points
Scroll through the checklist to review each ITP item, its current status badge, any associated hold point type, and who is responsible or witnessing the inspection.

Step 4: Update item status or reopen for defects
Use the available item actions to mark inspections as passed or failed, move items in and out of in-progress states, or reopen items for defects when further work is required.

Step 5: Manage and progress hold point workflows
For items with hold points, follow the hold point workflow to request, witness, and clear the hold, ensuring all approvals and responsibilities are recorded.

Step 6: Upload and review photo evidence
Attach photo evidence to relevant ITP items using the photo uploader, and review existing images to support inspection decisions and close-out.

Step 7: View linked inspection records and forms
Open form instances or detailed inspection records from the checklist using the "View Record" action to confirm data, signatures, and outcomes before finalising status updates.

Step 8: Initialise or complete the ITP for the component
When ready, initialise a new ITP record for the component or mark the component ITP as complete so that the overall package and project reporting reflect the final status.
