Manage safety and RFI actions from the lifecycle card
Use the contextual Safety or RFI actions card to trigger key lifecycle actions, such as requesting RAMS, issuing RFIs, or recording reviews.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the lifecycle detail view
Navigate to the relevant lifecycle item (for example, a RAMS or RFI record) and open its detail view so that the contextual actions card is visible on the page.

Step 2: Review the Safety or RFI actions card
In the detail view, locate the Safety actions or RFI actions card, read the heading and any visible error message to understand which contextual actions are available and whether any issues need attention.

Step 3: Choose the appropriate contextual action
From the list of buttons in the card, select the action that matches what you want to do, such as requesting RAMS, reviewing a submission, recording a manual review, issuing operative sign-off, raising a permit to work, running a RAMS audit, briefing the team, or issuing an RFI.

Step 4: Confirm the action is in progress
After you click an action, check that the selected button shows a busy or loading state, confirming that your requested action is being processed by the system.

Step 5: Check for any error messages
If something goes wrong while an action runs, look at the message displayed in red above the buttons to understand what happened and decide whether to retry or choose a different action.
