Create an Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) from the New Item menu

Use the New Item dropdown to start a new Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for your active project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the New Item menu​

In the project workspace, select the "New Item" button in the header to open the dropdown list of available item types.

Step 2: Find the ITP entry in the list​

In the dropdown, look for the ITP option, labelled "ITP" with its dedicated shield icon and colour, under the ITP group instead of the generic "Other" section.

Step 3: Select ITP to start a new plan​

Click the ITP entry to launch the ITP lifecycle wizard, which opens with your current project (for example "Riverside Tower") already selected.

Step 4: Continue in the ITP lifecycle wizard​

In the ITP wizard, follow the on-screen steps to configure stages and details for the new Inspection & Test Plan and then save it to your project.
