View component details and lifecycle information

Review a component’s key details, hierarchy, and inspection checklist within a project workspace.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the component from its parent package​

From the parent package view, select the component in the workspace item list to open its detail pane, where its reference and metadata are displayed.

Step 2: Use the breadcrumb to navigate between package and component​

At the top of the component details, use the breadcrumb showing the parent package and component reference to move back to the package or confirm where the component sits in the hierarchy.

Step 3: Switch between detail tabs​

Use the tabs (such as Overview, Metadata, Lifecycle, or Checklist) to switch between different views of the component’s information without leaving the page.

Step 4: Review lifecycle and checklist information​

In the lifecycle or checklist tab, review the configured stages, responsibilities, and ITP checklist items to understand current status and next actions for the component.
