Attach photo evidence to an inspection item

Add and manage photo evidence against an inspection item so it can be stored and referenced in project documentation.

Steps

Step 1: Open the inspection item that needs photo evidence

Navigate to the relevant checklist or hold point and open the inspection item where you need to add photo evidence; the photo evidence uploader panel is displayed within the item details.

Step 2: Start adding photo evidence

In the photo evidence uploader panel, select the option to add photos, which opens your device's file picker so you can choose one or more image files.

Step 3: Select and upload one or more photos

Use the file picker to select the photos you want to attach and confirm; the files are uploaded to the project document-processing service and progress is shown while uploading.

Step 4: Review attached photo filenames

After upload completes, check that each photo appears in the list with its original filename, confirming that the images have been successfully attached to the inspection item.

Step 5: Ensure minimum photo requirements are met

If the inspection item specifies a minimum number of photos, review the photo count indicator and add more photos until the requirement is satisfied so the item can be completed.

Step 6: Remove any incorrect or unwanted photos

If you have attached a wrong or duplicate image, use the remove control next to that photo to delete it from the inspection item, which also updates the photo count.
