Apply a handover template

Use the handover template modal to select and apply a predefined handover pack to your project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the handover template modal​

When you start configuring handover requirements, open the "Apply template" option to display the Handover template modal for your current project.

Step 2: Review the available handover templates​

The modal automatically loads templates from the system and lists them by name and description so you can compare options, such as standard building handover packs or specialist sets.

Step 3: Select the template you want to use​

Click on the template name you wish to apply, for example a standard UK building handover pack or a BREEAM-focused pack, to highlight it as your chosen option.

Step 4: Choose whether to add to or replace existing items​

If your project already has handover items, use the "Apply mode" toggle to choose whether to add the template items to the existing list or replace the current items entirely.

Step 5: Apply the template to your project​

Select "Apply template" to confirm your choice; the selected template is applied in the chosen mode, and the modal closes once the changes have been saved.
