View the workspace item status bar
Review the current stage and primary action for any lifecycle-based workspace item using the global status bar.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open a workspace item
Navigate to a workspace item detail view from your project list so that the item opens in its dedicated detail page.

Step 2: Locate the status bar above the item content
At the top of the detail view, just above the main item tabs or content shell, find the single status bar that applies to the currently open item.

Step 3: Review the lifecycle stage
Read the lifecycle stage shown on the status bar to understand where the item currently sits in the project process.

Step 4: Identify the primary action
Check the primary action displayed in the status bar to see the most important next step that can be taken for this item.

Step 5: Switch between different item types
Move between different lifecycle-based item types (such as RAMS, packages, components, handovers, plant, temporary works and ITPs) and note that the same single status bar is reused above each item shell.

Step 6: Recognise items without a status bar
When opening non-lifecycle workspace items, observe that no status bar appears, indicating that these items do not use lifecycle stages.
