Manage ITP hold points and sign-offs in the field
Review and clear ITP hold points with clear, on-screen guidance so actions are never silently disabled.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Review an ITP hold point item
Open the ITP item step from your inspection or task list to see the hold point details, current status, and any requirements before you can save a result.

Step 2: Choose a result for the ITP item
Select the appropriate result or outcome for the hold point; once a valid result is chosen, the Save action becomes available instead of remaining disabled.

Step 3: Understand why the Save action is disabled
If you have not yet chosen a result, the Save button stays disabled and a message appears explaining that you must choose a result before you can save.

Step 4: Start the operative sign-in process
Open the RAMS or ITP sign-in screen from the QR code or workflow link; the Continue button will initially be disabled until the operative begins entering their details.

Step 5: Enter an operative mobile number
Ask the operative to start typing their mobile number in the phone field; as soon as they enter an incomplete number, a clear message appears explaining why Continue is still unavailable.

Step 6: Complete details to enable Continue
Ensure the operative enters all required sign-in details correctly so the Continue button becomes enabled and they can complete the sign-in and proceed with the hold point.

Step 7: Confirm hold point clearance with a signature
When prompted, capture the operative or supervisor signature to clear the hold point, ensuring that field clearances are properly authorised and recorded.
