Review ITP checklist and update inspection item status

Use the ITP Detail Lens to review inspection items, acceptance criteria and hold points for a component, and update each item’s status while keeping the record in sync across views.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the ITP Detail Lens for a component​

From the component workspace, open the ITP Detail Lens to view the header with linked component, package or template information and the associated inspection checklist.

Step 2: Review inspection items and acceptance criteria​

Scroll through the list of inspection items to see each item’s name, acceptance criteria, hold point type and whether it is marked as critical before updating any statuses.

Step 3: Update the status of an individual inspection item​

For an inspection line, choose the new status (for example, in progress or complete); the lens writes the update to the underlying ITP item and refreshes the record to show the latest status.

Step 4: Confirm status changes in the component detail tab​

Switch to the component detail tab to confirm that the same ITP item record reflects your status updates, ensuring there is a single, consistent source of truth.
